Draft written by Etroy, to be read by a lawyer before it is final. Text in [square brackets] is still to be filled in.
1. Who we are
Etroy Growth is a service of Etroy Business Solution ("Etroy", "we"), [registered address], Bangladesh. It is offered at https://etroygrowth.etroybd.com. You can reach us at [contact email].
2. What the service does
Etroy Growth checks the websites a business adds to it: it reads their public pages and reports what could be better for search engines, shows page speed as measured by Google PageSpeed Insights, and, when the business connects its Google Search Console, shows how people find the website on Google. More features (leads, a chat on the website, reminders) are added over time; these Terms cover them as they come.
Every number the service shows comes from a named source: the website itself, Google, or the service's own records. Where there is no number yet, the service says so. Suggestions are suggestions: deciding what to change on your website is yours.
3. Workspaces and accounts
- A business uses the service through a workspace. The workspace's owner invites the people who work in it and decides their roles.
- Each person has their own account. Keep your password to yourself; we recommend two-step sign-in. Tell us at once if you think someone else has used your account.
- The business is responsible for what is done in its workspace by the people it let in.
4. Websites you add
- Add only websites that you own or are allowed to manage. Before the service reads a website, you prove it is yours (a tag on the site, a DNS record, or the connector on your own website).
- Our crawler reads public pages only, follows the website's robots.txt and keeps a slow pace. It names itself and points to a page that explains it (/bot).
- When you connect Google Search Console, you give the service read-only access to that website's search numbers. You can disconnect at any time; the access is then given back to Google.
5. Acceptable use
Do not use the service to read websites that are not yours, to try to reach other workspaces' data, to overload or break the service, or for anything unlawful.
6. Your data
What you and your website put into the service belongs to your business. We use it only to provide the service to you, as our Privacy Policy describes. We do not sell it.
7. Prices
[The service is being set up with its first clients. Prices, payment and a refund policy will be added here before any payment is asked for. Until then, what a client pays, if anything, is agreed with Etroy in writing.]
8. Availability and changes
We work to keep the service running and backed up every night, but cannot promise it will never be unavailable. We may change or end features; we tell workspace owners before a change that takes something away from them.
9. Limits of our responsibility
[To be written with a lawyer: the service's reports are information, not a promise of search rankings or results; the limit of Etroy's liability; what is excluded.]
10. Ending
A workspace owner may stop using the service at any time and ask us to delete the workspace's data. We may suspend an account or workspace that breaks these Terms, and tell its owner why.
11. Changes to these Terms
When these Terms change, the version number above changes, and everybody using the service is asked to accept the new version before going on.
12. Law
[To be confirmed with a lawyer: these Terms are governed by the laws of Bangladesh, and disputes are settled by the courts of Dhaka.]
